MBTA RIDE READY IN WONDER VALLEY
The MBTA provides services to the Wonder Valley residents on Tuesday and Friday each week. We pick up at 7:00 a.m. in Wonder Valley and take you to Twentynine Palms, with a return from Twentynine Palms at 12:00 noon. We have one additional day that we come to Wonder Valley, and that is on the first Wednesday of the month. We pick up at 7:00 a.m. and return at 1:00 p.m. This service will take you anywhere you might need to go in Twentynine Palms.
To make a reservation, you would call us at 760-366-2395. If this is your first time riding, we will ask you for your name, address, and phone number. We also need to know whether you are a Senior (over 60), Disabled (with proof from our offices) or a general fare. Also, we need to know if you are in a wheelchair, motorized or manual, or whether you need the assistance of our lift to board the bus. We will ask whether you live on a dirt road, and if you do, we will probably need to arrange a road check by one of our Field Supervisors to determine if our buses can use your road, or your driveway.
Reservations are made by calling 760-366-2395. You can call us Monday thought Saturday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The service does not run on Saturdays, but we are in the office to take your calls.
